What is it?

Key Steps is a comprehensive programme of activities in a range of topic areas covering Citizenship, PSHE, Environment Education, Personal Finance Education, Enterprise and Internationalism. The flexibility and range of Key Steps means that it can be followed for up to three years or for less than one year.

Getting started

If you are not yet registered with ASDAN, your first step is to complete an Application for Centre Registration Form. See the Join section for more information. Current ASDAN centres need to ensure that the programme is added to their centre's registration.

Following registration, you will be able to purchase your books and access additional resources and guidance via the members area of asdan.org.uk. ASDAN also provides introductory workshops and can arrange in-house training.

ASDAN members area

Once your centre is registered with ASDAN for Key Steps, you can access further information and resources via the members area of asdan.org.uk. It contains all relevant updates, essential documents and resources.

There is no limit to the number of people from a registered centre who can sign up to use the members area.

Certification

At the end of the programme, learners' folders should be internally moderated within your centre to check that everything required for the length and level of award is in place.

Once satisfied that this has been done, tutors can request certificates for their successful learners online from the members area of asdan.org.uk. No external moderation is required.
